Attorneys

Background and Current Scope of Practice

Ted is an associate at Walters Balido & Crain and a licensed attorney in the State of Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Mississippi and later received his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law. During law school, Ted was an active member of the academic community, serving on the Moot Court Team and as President of the Intellectual Property Society.

Before joining Walters Balido & Crain, Ted developed meaningful litigation experience at Lloyd & Mousilli in Houston, Texas. He also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Kristi H. Johnson at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, where he strengthened his legal research, writing, and courtroom exposure.

Ted’s path to the legal profession began unexpectedly. During a summer job as an undergraduate, his keys happened to fall at the feet of a nearby attorney, an encounter that sparked mentorship and his first introduction to legal work. That experience ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in law.

Outside of the office, Ted enjoys working out, fishing, hunting, and golfing. He also values spending meaningful time with family and friends, attends church with his fiancée, and participates in weekly Bible studies with close friends.
