Background and Current Scope of Practice

Mary Akapo is an associate attorney representing clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury, premises liability, transportation and automobile litigation, business litigation, and first-party insurance claims. Prior to joining the firm, Mary represented financial institutions in high-volume foreclosure litigation and managed large foreclosure dockets on behalf of national lenders while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Outside of her practice, Mary enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and collecting snow globes. She is also actively involved in her community through volunteer work with her church food pantry, Habitat for Humanity, and as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dallas.
