Background and Current Scope of Practice

Lacie Friday is an experienced trial lawyer and has 12 years of litigation experience in a wide range of civil matters, including personal injury and medical malpractice defense, bankruptcy and consumer law, and family law cases. Mrs. Friday is currently involved with personal injury and insurance defense casework.

Before joining Walters, Balido & Crain, Lacie served as in-house counsel for one of the fastest-growing and nationally recognized consumer collection firms in the United States. Serving in both managerial and risk-management roles, Lacie was fortunate to have taken part in creating the firm’s legal division for the state of Texas from the ground up.

In addition, Lacie gained extensive medical and insurance defense knowledge and experience while serving as an Associate Attorney for a DFW-based medical malpractice defense firm.

For the first seven years of her legal profession, Lacie owned and operated a boutique law firm specializing in debt defense and consumer bankruptcies as well as divorce and custody cases, including court appointments as Guardian Ad Litem in Texas Child Protective Services cases.

Prior to her legal endeavors, Lacie served as a K-12 public school educator in the DFW area for many years and has a strong commitment to serving, educating, and actively participating in her local communities both professionally and philanthropically.
