Background and Current Scope of Practice
Diana is a rare attorney who started her legal career in-house as a transactional lawyer before becoming a litigator. Her transactional experience helped shape her into a defense attorney with strong negotiation skills and attention to detail that helps with favorably resolving cases. She has represented clients in a range of matters ranging including construction defect, premises liability, breach of homeowners association restrictive covenant, breach of contract, and insurance defense.
In her personal life, she is a lover of all the arts, particularly dance. Before going to college, she trained in classical ballet for almost twenty years and performed with a contemporary dance company. In college, she fell in love with Latin dance and briefly taught salsa lessons with one of her favorite dance partners. She can still be found on occasion on dance floors throughout DFW on salsa nights.
In addition to dance, she enjoys spoiling her nieces, travel, personal development workshops, Super Tuscan wines, and keeping up with her favorite show on Apple TV.
