Apurva Swami is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on personal injury defense, premises liability, and insurance disputes. With experience advocating for clients in a variety of legal settings, Apurva brings a strong commitment to defense work and a dedication to providing thoughtful, effective representation.

Before joining Walters Balido & Crain, Apurva began her legal career with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender and gained additional litigation experience through internships with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the Marion County Public Defender Agency in Indianapolis. These experiences shaped her passion for advocacy and her commitment to using the law to make a positive impact on the clients and communities she serves.

Outside of the office, Apurva enjoys cheering on Houston sports teams, including the Texans and Astros, exploring local restaurants throughout the Austin area, and cooking.
