Background and Current Scope of Practice

I grew up in Luling, Louisiana (Geaux Saints!) where I split my time between New Orleans and Breaux Bridge; the crawfish capital of the world. My mother is both an officer with the U.S. Army and a nurse practitioner, and my father dedicated his career to civil service and environmental regulation. It was from them that I learned the importance of hard work, humility, and small-town values that I brought with me to the big city, and to Walters Balido & Crain.

As a former felony assistant criminal district attorney, I understand the importance of seeking justice and practicing law in an aggressive, and fair manner. I take great joy and pride in being a resource for my clients, and being part of a team that provides them with meaningful counsel and legal representation.

As an attorney in our Dallas, Texas location, I represent our clients in various matters involving medical malpractice defense, negligence, personal injury defense, and motor vehicle accidents.

When not working, I enjoy playing video games RPG’s (Cyberpunk, Witcher 3, Final Fantasy), CRPG’s (Baldur’s Gate 3, Wasteland), watching anime (Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, Samurai Champloo). My greatest privilege and joy is spending time with my wife, Susan, and our pet babies, Lila and Charlie.
