The
trucking industry was vilified in a recent Dallas Morning
News three part front page series titled "Road Hazards."*
After months of investigation, the Morning News painted
an ugly picture of the trucking industry with a broad
brush. Companies came under attack in a variety of areas
including hiring practices, safety records, and litigation
tactics. The industry was portrayed as uncaring and
irresponsible.
At Walters,
Balido & Crain, we took offense. We represent trucking
companies, their drivers, and their insurers in lawsuits
throughout Texas. The companies we deal with and the
individuals we represent are concerned about safety
and genuinely work to prevent accidents.
If your insured, your driver, or your company is involved in a trucking accident, we can help. WBC handles scene investigations, driver interviews, evidence preservation, document retention and media inquires. Often, a quick and thorough response maintains evidence critical to the defense. As trial lawyers, each step we take is focused on the end presentation to a jury.
Our firm is the only Dallas, Texas based defense
firm which maintains an office in Wise County, identified
by the Dallas Morning News, as the fourth deadliest
in Texas for trucking accidents. Our Northwest Texas
office enables us to represent clients including motor
carriers in a critical transportation corridor. Situated
in Decatur, Texas, lawyers from this office handle
matters in Wise and surrounding counties including
but not limited to Montague, Jack, Clay, Wichita,
Archer, Parker, Hood, Somerville, Erath, Cooke, Grayson,
Denton, Tarrant, Johnson, and Eastland.
Todd Parks
is the partner in charge of the Wise County office.
Wise County is not only where Todd works but where
he lives.
David Bradley
tries lawsuits on behalf of motor carriers throughout
Texas from the firm's Dallas, Texas office. He is
a member of defense organizations dedicated to the
transportation industry.
